West Central Indiana AHEC’s mission is to enhance access to quality health care, particularly primary and preventive care, by improving the supply, distribution, and diversity of health care professionals through community/academic, and educational partnerships.
West Central Indiana AHEC seeks to:
Improve the distribution of Health Care Professionals in rural and under-served areas of Indiana and eastern Illinois
Improve the diversity of the Health Care Workforce so patients have a choice of professionals who understand and respect their backgrounds and preferences
Improve the quality of Health Care Professional education
