  • High School Summer Honors 2015:  Register for one of our one-week seminars for high school students to be held July 19-25, 2015 on the Indiana State University campus. Explore an academic interest. Experience campus life. Earn University credit.

  • Indiana Summer Games:   Indiana State University will host the inaugural Indiana Summer Games, an Olympic style event designed to promote healthy lifestyles through sports and recreation. Games will be played on the Indiana State University campus and other locations in Terre Haute on the following dates:

    June 26-28—boys and girls soccer, baseball (ages 8 and under, 10 and under, and 12 and under)

    July 10-12—boys and girls basketball, mountain biking

    July 17-19—baseball (6 and under, 7 and under, 9 and under, 11 and under, 13 and under); softball

  • Lemonade Day:  Indiana State University is sponsoring Lemonade Day at various locations across the Wabash Valley on June 20. This event enables children in the Wabash Valley to learn about entrepreneurship and financial literacy by starting their own business—a lemonade stand. By running their stand, they learn the business and life skills needed to set a goal, make a plan, and work the plan to achieve their dreams. This free event is open to children in grades K-12.   • Special Olympics Indiana:  Special Olympics Indiana is hosting the 46th annual Summer Games on June 12–14, 2015 on the campuses of Indiana State University and Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, and at other locations in the Terre Haute community.   • Terre Haute REX Baseball:  Season tickets are on sale now: $162 for Backstop grandstands; $240 for Reserve seats; and $330 for Scout seats. Also offering half season tickets. REX has 30 homes games for 2015, starting on May 27. If you are interested in tickets, wanting to schedule a REX Deck, or needing information on our Kids Program, call Jenifer Wright, Office Manager, at (812) 478-3817.   • Vigo County Parks and Recreation Department:  This summer, the Vigo County Parks and Recreation Department is offering a variety of programs for all ages, including special programs for children. Programs are held at various parks and locations across the county. Many are free.
