Students with the "Blues"

Student Counseling Center

Living in a new environment, a heightened degree of independence, and other significant changes students face, especially new students, can be challenging.  At times, students sense a feeling of "the blues" which can negatively impact their student experience at a personal, social, and academic level.  Students are encouraged to share their feelings with others, including residence hall staff and other members of the Student Affairs community.

The Student Counseling Center (SCC) on campus, provides free counseling services to all registered students at Indiana State University.  The professional staff of the Counseling Center has expertise in assisting students to better deal with the challenges they face.
