Student Academic Services Center

21st Century Scholars

The Twenty-first Century Scholars Program grants tuition awards to low- to moderate-income Indiana students pursuing higher education.  Upon completion of the Scholar’s Pledge, the cost of four years of college tuition is provided at any participating public college or university in Indiana.  If the student attends a private institution, the state will award an amount comparable to that of a public institution.

There are 14 regional support sites across the state of Indiana.  The Wabash Valley Regional Support Program, housed at Indiana State University, serves six counties: Clay, Parke, Putnam, Sullivan, Vermillion, Vigo.

Once a scholar is enrolled in college, additional support is offered by the individual institution.  These services vary widely from one college to another, but examples of support include tutoring assistance and financial aid assistance
