Priority Scheduling for Spring 2009

Priority scheduling for Spring 2009 begins November 3 and runs through November 28.  Advisement is required prior to registration. During the priority scheduling period, access to the system is prioritized based on the total number of credit hours earned.

You can find helpful registration information by accessing both the Timely Tips for Web Registration and the Important Dates links.  The complete Spring 2009 Schedule of Classes is available online.

Graduate students: You may register anytime beginning on November 3, continuing through the last day of priority scheduling.

Undergraduate students: You need to take a copy of your DARS report to your advising appointment. You can run and print your DARS report by accessing the MyISU Portal at http://myisu.indstate.edu. Your total number of earned hours, which can be found on the first page of your DARS report, will be used to determine the first date that you are eligible to register. You may register anytime from the first day you are eligible through the last day of priority scheduling.

Total earned hours prioritization is as follows:

November 3 - 28 Graduate Students and Seniors who have at least 94 earned hours of credit
November 10 - 28 Juniors who have at least 63 earned  hours of credit
November 17 - 28 Sophomores who have at least 32 earned hours of credit
November 24 - 28 Freshmen who have 31 earned hours of credit or fewer

Non-degree students: You may register for courses during the open enrollment session. Open enrollment for Spring 2009 begins begins Saturday, April 26.  Open enrollment for Summer 2008 begins Friday, May 2, 2008.
