Indiana State University's Recreation and Sport Management major takes a professional development approach to the education and training of our students. At ISU you will be involved in learning important concepts as well as the methods necessary to begin an exciting career in Recreation Management and Youth Leadership, Sport Management or Recreation Therapy (links below).
Specialists in these areas are needed to manage recreation and sport activity facilities, to supervise and plan indoor/outdoor recreation activities, to develop recreation and sport services for youth and adults in a variety of for-profit and non-profit settings, and to practice in health care settings as Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialists.
