How to find ethernet address in Windows NT/2000/XP.
1.Click the Windows NT/2000 Start button and select Run. Type
command and then click OK.
2.At the C:\ prompt, type ipconfig -all and press the Enter key on
your keyboard.
3.The next screen displays information about your Ethernet adapter local area
connection. Make sure you get the local area connection,
not the wide area connection.Your twelve-digit, hardware Ethernet address is in the Physical
Address field. In the following example, the Ethernet address is
00-C0-4F-74-F7-F0.
Note: we have had a rash of registration requests
for the following address: 00:53:45:00:00:00, this is
not a valid adapter address, please be sure you are getting the local area
connection and not the wide area connection.
