Use on Personally Owned Computers
Information Technology is releasing the Microsoft Campus Agreement 3.4 for
individual use at home. The Microsoft Campus Agreement 3.4 (MSCA) is an annual
licensing program that allows current faculty and most staff to install some of
today’s most popular Microsoft products on one (1) personally owned computer;
and an additional copy of the software on a second, portable device (e.g.
notebook computer, or tablet PC) for the exclusive use of the primary user of
the first copy of the software either at home, or in her or his office. Student employees are not eligible for
this program.
An eligible employee can purchase the software by doing the following:
- Order software at
http://www1.indstate.edu/msca/ordrmsca.html. You will
receive an email when your order is completed.
- Bring the email message you received verifying that your order is ready,
your ISU ID, and the signed MSCA license agreement
to the Computer Store in SCC room 109 all to pay for the software.
- Take your receipt, the email, and a signed MSCA license agreement to the Help Desk in the SCC (Student Computing Complex) room
127.
Our walk-in hours are 7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Monday -
Friday. After you
have shown your ID and signed the pickup order form you will be given copies
of the software.
IMPORTANT:
- Your ISU ID will be required to purchase and pickup software.
- Individuals will not be allowed to pick up software for other employees.
- Individuals can purchase only one copy of each software package
(either Windows or Macintosh).
