We’re excited to have you join us at Indiana State University! International New Student Orientation will take place starting on Thursday, January 2nd, 2014 and check-in will begin promptly at 1:00PM (13:00) Eastern.
All orientation events are required. You must attend every session to register for coursework. Students who do not attend may be unable to enroll and will have to return home.
To register for orientation, follow these three easy steps:
1. Activate your Sycamore Login (Student Portal):
2. Register for New Student Orientation using your new Sycamore Login and password
3. Access your Sycamore Email and check it often. Specific schedules for the three-day orientation experience are also available. If you’re having difficulty registering for orientation, please contact the Office of Admissions at 1-800-GO-TO-ISU or email firstname.lastname@example.org

Immigration Check in: Thursday, January 2nd and Friday, 3rd: Rhoads Hall Mezzanine 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
Immigration Check in for new graduate and undergraduate international students will take place on January 2nd and 3rd in the Center for Global Engagement Rhoads Hall Mezzanine from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. This is required in order to keep you immigration status as an F-1 student.
English Language Placement Test: Thursday, January 2nd 1:00 pm Check in and 2:30 pm Test
The English language placement test for newly admitted undergraduate and language students will take place on Thursday, January 2nd. Check in will start at 1:00 p.m. and the test will start at 2:30 pm at a location yet to be determined. All undergraduate students are required to attend both the events. keep checking this site for the latest information.
Registration and Advisement: Saturday January 4th Time and Location TBD

This Immigration Seminar is required for all international students. Saturday January 11th Dede III
The required immigration seminar for all undergraduate and graduate first time students to Indiana State University will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 11 in Dede III, in the Hulman Memorial Student Union.
