Indiana Rural Recreation Development Project
Employment Opportunities
The InRRDP is always looking for qualified people to work on special
projects to help achieve the InRRDP mission. We are
also interested in having college students complete internships, practicum
hours/fieldwork, and independent studies with our project year round.
The InRRDP has opportunities for undergraduate students to get practical
experience while completing their course work. Examples of
internships, practicum hours/fieldwork, and independent study projects
include:
- Assisting with InRRDP research projects and community needs
assessments
- Assisting with the development of community master plans for parks
and recreation
- Developing administrative policies
- Developing and presenting a Citizen Action Committee Training
seminar (e.g., Playground Safety)
- Developing a Citizen Action Committee manual
- Exploring available staff training opportunities through the
American Camp Association (ACA), such as the on-line Day Camp Director's
Course
- Other experiences can be tailored to your
interests and InRRDP's current needs
