Over 100 Chauncey Rose Middle School students will be attending a special program at the Indiana State University Library.
Organized by Professor Stanley Evans, students have read the book "CrazyLady" by Jane Conly, and worked with ISU students enrolled in the "Literature and Life: Adolescent and Young Adult Literature" course.
Activities include:
A panel presentation by representatives of Special Olympics Indiana, Bridges of Indiana, and Hamilton Center and the film, "Benny and Joon."
Chauncey Rose teachers Mike Myers, Sherie Herner, Richard Nail, Amy Hunter, Kelly Brentlinger, Troy Isles, and-lead teacher for this project - Sarah Gore, and Vice-principal Gary Dellmo collaborated with Indiana State University to create this program.
