Terre Haute Human Rights Day

Indiana State University and Community Partners announce the ninth annual Terre Haute Human Rights Day--a
celebration of possibilities and a call to action. Academic
departments, community organizations, and social activists will join
artists, and featured speakers to renew our commitment to social justice and
human rights with emphasis on The Abolition of Slavery and Human
Trafficking (Article 4 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights).
Members of the Steering Committee for Human Rights Day 2009 invite your
participation and attendance. Speakers and workshops will be cost-free and
open to the public.
