Math Placement TestIn order to correctly place students in mathematics courses at Indiana State University, students are required to take a mathematics placement exam. The test can be taken on-line in less than an hour. If you are an incoming ISU student, the test must be completed before attending orientation. There is no charge to take the math placement test. |

To take the Math Placement Test, you must first take the Practice Test. Once you have taken the Practice Test, you will be prompted to take the Math Placement Test.

Prior to logging on to the test site, review the following to ensure your system meets specific requirements. Internet Connection: To access (and complete) the test, you must have access to 56K modem dial-up connection. Broadband, cable modem, or DSL Internet connection is recommended for optimal performance System Requirements WINDOWS, WINDOW 2000, XP, 2003, VISTA

If your computer does not meet these requirements, please use a computer at the any ISU computer lab, your local library, or high school. If you are an incoming ISU student, and you are unable find a testing site that possesses the necessary requirements to take the Math Placement Test online, you may take the Math Placement Test during your New Student Orientation session. |
