• Indiana State University, M.S. Degree in Industrial and Professional Technology, 1975.

• Indiana State University, B.S. Degree in Electronics Technology, 1974.

• Danville Junior College, A.S. Degree in Electronics Engineering Technology, 1973.

EXPERIENCE:

• For the past 23 years, Dr. Cockrell has taught electronics, computer courses, and Project Management as a professor of electronics and computer technology at Indiana State University.

• He was a test engineer with Rockwell International and Collins Avionics.

• He has also served as an electronics technical instructor with the U.S. Air Force.

• Dr. Cockrell has been involved in executive leadership with the ISA, The Instrumentation, Systems, and Automation Society for a number of years.

• Contributor to the TV show "World Business Review" with Alexander Haig.
