JENNIFER N. GRIMES, Ph.D.
Dr. Jennifer N. Grimes is an Assistant Professor in the
Department of
Criminology & Criminal Justice at
Indiana State University.
She received her Ph.D. in Justice Studies from the
School of
Justice & Social Inquiry at Arizona State University in 2007.
Dr. Grimes’s research and teaching interests include crime and the
mass media, punishment and social control, public opinion and criminal
justice policy, and evaluations of correctional and community-based
treatment and rehabilitation programs.
Her work has appeared in such journals as the
Journal of Crime and Justice,
Sociological Quarterly, and
Federal Probation.
Dr. Grimes is a member of the
American Society of Criminology,
Prior to accepting a position with
Dr. Grimes has been teaching in the areas of criminology, criminal justice,
and justice studies for over five years.
