The Spring 2010 Career Opportunity Fair will be held on Wednesday, February 10th.
Originally from Panama City, Panama, my first language was Spanish and I had to learn to speak English in Kindergarten when we migrated to the United States. My past has given me a greater understanding and ability for working with our diverse population, especially our international students knowing the transition to this country from their homeland is difficult at times, especially with the language barriers. My daughter is attending college so I have first hand knowledge of the joys and frustrations of student life. I enjoy working with students and alumni through on-campus recruiting, career fairs and Sycamore CAREERlink. Seeing students get the job they want and come back to our career fairs to recruit for their respective companies or schools is a high incentive to work just as hard for the next year's students. Words of wisdom: Don't wait till your senior year to take advantage of our numerous services. Success with your career awaits you through our doors.
