A New Master of Science Degree Concentration in Aviation Management
The College of Technology Master of Science degree in Industrial Technology will be offering an Aviation Management concentration for the Aviation Professional. The courses in the concentration are projected to begin the Spring 2010 semester.
The Department of Aviation Technology at Indiana State University provides the management and technology foundation required for the successful aviation professional. The College of Technology offers a Master of Science degree in Industrial Technology with a concentration in Aviation Management.
The course curriculum is rigorous and covers the breadth of modern management concepts, methods, and advanced technologies in an aviation and administration context. Students will complete coursework that includes: principles of global aviation, safety management systems (SMS), aviation law, human factors, crew resource management, advanced aviation security, intermodal transportation and logistics.
The Master of Science degree requires completion of 36 credit hours, of which 9 credits are required within the Aviation Concentration.
